One of the busiest departments of any hospital will undoubtedly be the Radiology department with a regular flow of inpatients, outpatients and direct referrals from general practice. Most people, at some point in their lives, will be the subject of one form of medical imaging or another. The aim of this resource is to introduce you to Radiology in the modern medical world and to explore the breadth of imaging techniques used on a day to day basis. It aims to explore some of the relative benefits and disadvantages of different imaging techniques and to consider some future developments and experimental ideas.
